My opinion: I visited McCambridges of Galway on my last trip to Galway and it was one of my favourite breakfast spots. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it!

Galway Bakehouse & Café

My opinion: The Galway Bakehouse & Café offers a lot of great options for breakfast, especially if your tastes are a bit more unusual. Their coffee blend is especially worth trying – it’s one of the best coffees I’ve ever tasted!

Giannino’s at Chocolate Boutique Hotel

Giannino’s at the Chocolate Boutique Hotel offers an even more indulgent experience for breakfast in Galway city. Here, you can choose from French toast with seasonal berries, hot waffles and pancakes, poached eggs with smoked salmon, and more. And, if that wasn’t reason enough to visit Giannino’s, the staff here are friendly and welcoming and the hotel has some beautiful interiors to admire while you eat. It’s one of the most unique breakfast spots in the city!

My opinion: Giannino’s provides a luxurious start to your day in Galway. Whether you stay for breakfast or just pop in to pick up a pastry or pastry-like snack to take away with you, it’s worth the visit. The atmosphere is fantastic, and their menu has something for everyone – it’s definitely worth trying out!

Rockffish

If you’re looking for something a little more unique – not to mention tasty – then Rockffish is worth checking out. This quaint eatery located on Quay Street serves up some original and flavour-filled breakfasts like braised egg wraps, seafood curries and lentil-tastic scrambles. My opinion: I’ve visited Rockffish several times – the food is always amazing! I usually order their braised egg wrap – so yummy! The atmosphere is great too – very relaxing and welcoming. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something a bit different for your morning meal!

My opinion: I love popping into The Home Bakery every time I visit Galway – the food here is always delicious.
