Prague is known for its bustling nightlife. From bars and pubs to dance clubs and live music venues, you’ll be spoilt for choice in this vibrant city. Whether you’re looking for a raucous night out or a relaxed evening, there’s something here to suit every taste. Read on to discover some of the best nightlife spots that Prague has to offer.

Karlovy Lazne Prague

Karlovy Lazne is one of Prague’s most famous and popular clubs, situated in the heart of the city. With its five different dance floors, each playing different genres of music, you’ll be sure to find something to suit your taste. Mainly playing techno, electro and house, this is a great spot for those who love to both dance the night away and chat with friends. Although mainly known for its DJ sets, there are also special events held on certain days that feature live bands or famous DJs. For those looking for a break from the music, you can hop upstairs to the quieter clubber’s lounge and relax with a cocktail or two. For anyone wanting a night out in Prague, Karlovy Lazne should definitely be on your list of places to check out. Karlovy Lazne Prague

If you’re after something a bit more low-key, then Chapeau Rouge is the place to go. This popular wine bar and club is well situated near the city centre and plays host to a variety of different sounds from rock and reggae to funk and hip hop. As well as having an extensive drinks menu featuring local wines and craft beers, Chapeau Rouge also provides an outside terrace which looks out over Old Town Square – perfect for soaking up the atmosphere of the city. I love going to Chapeau Rouge as it’s a great spot for chilling with friends and a perfect spot for watching the world go by as you take in the beautiful views of Old Town Square.

La Fabrique

For those looking for something a bit more alternative, head over to La Fabrique. This unique venue was started as an independent theatre in 1989 and has evolved over the years into a multi-functional arts hub that includes music, art and more. As well as showcasing local musical talent, La Fabrique also features art exhibitions, movie screenings and even occasional theatre performances. With its sense of sweeping décor and somewhat gritty charm, La Fabrique offers a unique setting with plenty of hidden surprises throughout its labyrinthine layout. La Fabrique

I absolutely love La Fabrique – even if you don’t feel like dancing, it’s still such an interesting place to explore with its various nooks and crannies.

Havana Music Bar

The Havana Music Bar is a great spot for anyone wanting to try something a little different. Straddling the boundary between café, bar and live music venue, this lively spot offers a range of Cuban-inspired dishes accompanied by swaying Latin tunes from a range of local acts. As well as providing regular live performances throughout the week, Havana also serves up delicious cocktails in its aptly-themed interior – complete with mannequins dressed in traditional Cuban garb! For those after something truly unique, then Chateau St Havel is definitely the place to go! Located in the heart of Prague’s Lesser Town district, this remarkable building dates back to the 13th century and has been restored to its former grandeur. Having been used as a military headquarters during the 19th century, Chateau St Havel now provides a stunning backdrop for daytime dining and evening entertainment. With its panoramic views of the city, outdoor terrace and spectacular ballroom, Chateau St Havel is perfect for those wanting to experience an incredible atmosphere in true style. Chateau St Havel
