Bar Bulldog

Bar Bulldog is the place to be if you’re looking for craft beer, gourmet burgers and a lively atmosphere. Located in the West Port area, this cozy bar features handmade banquettes and recycled kegs transformed into innovative light fixtures. The bar boasts an impressive selection of craft beers on tap and a delicious menu of burgers, salads, and tacos. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can get creative and create your own burger – there are 20 topping options to choose from! And don’t forget to check out the cocktail list: Bar Bulldog specializes in serving up unique drinks such as the Devil’s Own and the Brambles Pride.

I had an amazing time at Bar Bulldog! The friendly staff made sure I had everything I needed and the burger was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a fun, laid back atmosphere and great food.

Brewhemia

Brewhemia is one of Edinburgh’s most unique pubs. Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town, this gorgeous venue offers something for everyone – an incredible selection of craft beer and cider, as well as a wide variety of gin, whisky and vodka. There’s also a great selection of affordable dishes on offer, ranging from sharing platters to hearty burgers. The decor is quirky, with vintage furnishings, vintage posters and graffiti-style art around the venue. With its relaxed atmosphere, diverse range of drinks and tasty food, Brewhemia is the perfect spot for any night out.

Brewhemia is definitely one of my favourite places in Edinburgh! The drinks selection is amazing and the food is really good. It’s great for groups as there is plenty of room to sit inside and out, so it’s perfect for colder evenings. Highly recommended!

The Voodoo Rooms

The Voodoo Rooms is a fun and vibrant live music venue located in the heart of Edinburgh. This venue has become something of a local fixture in the city over the years, having hosted some of Scotland’s biggest music acts over the years such as Belle & Sebastian, Snow Patrol and Franz Ferdinand. There are also regular live acoustic sets from up-and-coming local artists. As well as being a popular spot for music lovers, it’s also a great place to enjoy a range of delicious cocktails and craft beers.

I always make sure to stop by The Voodoo Rooms whenever I’m in town. The atmosphere is great and the drinks selection is really good. I love that they host a wide range of events throughout the year so you never know what you’re going to experience when you visit!

BrewDog Edinburgh – Lothian Road

BrewDog Edinburgh on Lothian Road is a great spot for craft beer lovers. This cool bar offers an impressive selection of craft beer on tap, as well as an extensive bottle selection featuring local beers from Edinburgh and Scotland. If you’re not into beer, there are plenty of other drinks to choose from such as cocktails and spirits. There’s also an array of light snacks on offer such as pizzas and sandwiches. Keep an eye out for regular events taking place such as beer tastings and live music gigs.

I really enjoyed my visit to Brewdog Edinburgh – Lothian Road. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the beer selection which was great. I also really liked the relaxed atmosphere of the bar – it was definitely a great place to hang out!

The Canny Man’s Pub

The Canny Man’s Pub enjoys a well-deserved reputation for being one of the best traditional pubs in Edinburgh. Located in the heart of the city centre, this charming venue offers a host of real ales as well as an excellent selection of fine whiskies. In addition to its great drinks selection, The Canny Man’s Pub serves up traditional Scottish cuisine such as haggis and neeps, along with more hearty dishes such as steak pies and fish & chips. As well as its tasty food offering, this venue also hosts regular live music acts making it a great spot for a night out with friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Canny Man’s Pub! The atmosphere was really warm and welcoming, the food was great and the drinks selection was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this pub if you want to experience genuine Scottish hospitality.

Jinty McGuinty’s

Jinty McGuinty’s is one of Edinburgh’s best-loved late night venues. Located on Clerk Street in the city centre, this lively pub has been around since 2009, making it one of the longest-standing bars in the city. Open late until 3am, this venue boasts an extensive drinks list featuring classic beers such as lager and IPA alongside hand crafted cocktail creations such as Bramble Gin & Tonic and Passion Fruit Martini. As well as an impressive selection of drinks there are also pool tables and DJ booths making it a top spot for letting loose into the early hours.

If you’re looking for a fun late night venue in Edinburgh then Jinty McGuinty’s is definitely worth checking out! I always have a great time when I visit – the atmosphere is really lively and there’s plenty of room to dance if you feel like letting loose!

The Sheep Heid Inn

Last but certainly not least on our list is The Sheep Heid Inn – one of Edinburgh’s oldest pubs located beside Duddingston Loch on the outskirts of Arthurs Seat. This pub has been around since 1495 making it one of the oldest pubs in Britain. Besides boasting a wealth of history, The Sheep Heid Inn offers cozy comfort with its traditional fireplace setting and low beams making it perfect for winter evenings. As well as having one of the best beer gardens in town, the pub also features charming decor such as barrel tables filled with authentic ales and classic old photographs hung around the walls making it a great spot for relaxing with friends or family over drinks or dinner.

The Sheep Heid Inn is always a pleasure to visit! The setting is brilliant; you can sit outside by the lakeside with your drinks- perfect for warmer weather days. The decor inside is very traditional which only adds to its charm; it’s like taking a step back into Edinburgh`s history – Highly recommended!
