Petronas Twin Towers Entry Fees

Visiting the Petronas Twin Towers is open to all, although tickets must be purchased in advance for any of the tours and observatories. Entry to the ground level of the towers, including shops, restaurants, and photo opportunities is free. Visiting the Skybridge costs RM 85 ($21 USD) with discounts available for children aged 3–12 years and senior citizens aged 60 and above.

Where to Buy Petronas Twin Towers Tickets?

The fastest and most convenient way to purchase entry tickets is via online platforms. Official online entry tickets are available on Klook.com or GetYourGuide.com. You can select your preferred language when you visit either of these sites. Transportation between Xpresurge Kiosk and the Petronas Twin Towers is free with every purchased ticket. Alternatively, if you are not an online person and prefer purchasing the tickets onsite, there are two ways in which you can buy full-priced tickets to the Skybridge:

  • At ticket counter inside Suria KLCC shopping mall
  • At Xpresurge Kiosks located near to the entrance of Petronas Twin Towers which offer ticketing services. Tickets are available here on a first-come-first-served basis; they are usually sold out before midday.

Petronas Twin Towers discounts & special offers

  • Children age 3 – 12 years: A discounted price of RM 50 ($12 USD) applies to children (height less than 1.2m). A valid ID (passport / birth certificate) is required upon ticket redemption.
  • Senior Citizens aged 60+: Senior citizens (age 60+) need to present a valid identification form (MyKad / police / army) upon ticket redemption in order to be eligible for a special priced ticket at RM 50 ($12 USD). Free entry applies to senior citizens aged 80+.
  • Disability Permit Holders: Holders of AMA (Lebuhraya Malaysia Berhad) disability permit cards enjoy free entry to the Skybridge upon presentation of their permit at ticket counter.
  • Children Under 3 Years: Children under 3 years old enter Free of charge.
  • Group Ticketing: Special discounts apply for groups of 15 people or more when purchasing tickets online.

Visitors have approximately 90 minutes at the Tower base after entering via designated entrances on both sides of the Tower (KLCC North Entrance or KLCC South Entrance). You’re entitled to enjoy the below at no additional cost:

  • Exhibition gallery located on Level 3 of Tower 2
  • Observation Deck on level 86 – note that visitors are not allowed to move around this observation deck
  • Souvenir shops and restaurant located at Level 1 of Tower 2
  • Ticketed Skybridge (level 41) – visitors should take note that this bridge closes earlier on Fridays due to prayer times (for Muslims).

Additional tips before visiting the Petronas Twin Towers

  • Book your ticket in advance: Make sure to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid long waiting times or missing out completely. Tickets sell out quickly so we recommend purchasing them as soon as you’ve finalized your travel dates.
  • Bring your ID: Don’t forget to bring a valid ID in order to redeem tickets online if you’re eligible for a discounted ticket (children under 12 years old and senior citizens aged 60+).
  • Dress Appropriately: No sleeveless shirts and shorts / skirts above knees are allowed at the Petronas Twin Towers (for both men and women). Don’t forget a jacket as it can get quite chilly once you reach the top.
  • Time your visit correctly: Avoid visiting during rush hours (on Mondays, after Fridays at 3PM) as long queues can form quickly.
  • Avoid peak times: The observation decks get quite busy from 10AM – 11AM, as do many restaurants and shops so if you’d like to have a more peaceful experience then try to come later in the afternoon.
  • Cameras: Cameras, selfie sticks and other electronic devices are all allowed inside the Petronas Twin Towers, however tripsods are not.
