Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Sirimon Park Gate to Judmier Camp

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Airbnb or private apartment in Nairobi at 07:30 AM, and then start your drive to Mount Kenya National Park. Once you arrive at Sirimon Park Gate, you will start your trek to Judmier Camp, passing through bamboo forests, some of which can be over a hundred years old.

Day 2: Judmier Camp to Shipton’s Camp

On day two, you will continue your hike, ascending through moorlands, valleys, and gorges, where you will see the unique birdlife and wildlife the area has to offer. You will then proceed to Shipton’s camp, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Shipton’s Camp

On day three, you will have an acclimatization day at Shipton’s camp, where you will take a short trek to a spectacular view of the majestic peaks and glaciers. The day’s activities will allow your body to adjust to the high altitude.
