Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar (2,850m)
After breakfast, we’ll take a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the charming town of Dhap Bazaar. The drive will take around 8-9 hours, and we’ll stop along the way to take in the stunning views of the mountains and landscapes. We’ll stay overnight at a lodge in Dhap Bazaar.
Day 2: Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre (2,830m)
Today, we’ll begin our trek through beautiful forests and rhododendron groves towards the village of Jhapre. We’ll also visit the Thupten Chholing Monastery, which is the largest Nyingma-pa monastery in the Solu area. We’ll stay overnight at a lodge in Jhapre.
Day 3: Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp (3,640m)
Today, we’ll trek to Pikey Base Camp, where we’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Himalayan range. We’ll also visit a traditional Sherpa village and interact with the locals to get a glimpse of their way of life. We’ll stay overnight at a lodge in Pikey Base Camp.
Day 4: Pikey Base Camp to Pikey Peak Summit (4,065m) and Junbesi (2,700m)
Today is the day we’ve been waiting for – we’ll trek to the Pikey Peak summit to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas. After enjoying the breathtaking views, we’ll descend back to Pikey Base Camp and continue our trek towards Junbesi. We’ll stay overnight at a lodge in Junbesi.
Day 5: Junbesi to Phaplu (2,470m)
Today, we’ll trek to Phaplu, a bustling town with stunning views of the Himalayas. Along the way, we’ll explore traditional Sherpa villages and interact with the locals. We’ll stay overnight at a lodge in Phaplu.
Day 6: Phaplu to Kathmandu
