The tour starts at Cerciz Topulli square where you will meet your host, Marjeta. The group will then head over to the old bazaar neighborhood of Pazar i Vjeter. Once there, Marjeta will lead you through the preparation of three traditional Albanian vegetarian dishes: Qofte bobollaqe, Qifqi, and Hasude. Qofte bobollaqe is a dish consisting mainly of yogurt while Qifqi is a unique dish made primarily of rice that is found only in Gjirokastër. Hasude, a traditional Albanian dessert, will also be on the menu. Each dish will be accompanied by a salad of the season that Marjeta has already prepared for you. Once you have finished cooking, the group will sit down together to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
