Visit Tyn Church

The church was built in around 1360 by Charles IV, and it has since become of one of the most important religious buildings in Prague – also playing host to an impressive selection of art from some of Europe’s greatest Renaissance and baroque painters. Tyn Church is open for tours daily from 10am-6pm and entrance is free.

Visit the Strahov Monastery Brewery

You can’t come to Prague without sampling one (or several!) of its famously delicious beers. After all, Prague is home to some of Europe’s oldest breweries, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy a locally produced pint.

One great place to visit is the Strahov Monastery Brewery. This historic brewery dates back to 1572 and today it serves some of the city’s finest traditional ales. On top of being able to enjoy its delicious beers, you can also enjoy some live music on weekday nights and soak up the atmosphere of this unique venue – an atmosphere that has been preserved since its opening nearly 450 years ago!

Visit the Petrin Tower

No afternoon in Prague is complete without a climb up Petrin Hill and a visit to Petrin Tower. This iconic structure has been a symbol of the city since it was built in 1891 for the International Exhibition before being moved, brick by brick, up on top Petrin Hill.

Standing 75-meters high, Petrin Tower offers stunning views over all of Prague from both its observation decks – as well as glass balcony at its very peak, where you can take in a 360degree panorama of the incredible cityscape below. Petrin tower also has a 3D projection show inside telling its history which guests can enjoy before exploring the tower’s two floors which are filled with interesting exhibits. Entry costs just 80 CZK per person (€3.20), making it an affordable way to enjoy one of Prague’s most incredible sights.
