The trail has several access points along its route: from Creasy Lane, Hill View Trail and Green Loop Trail in the eastern part, Twin Buttes Trail, Canyon View Park and Trails End Park in the Western part. Only some sections of the trail remain open for mountain biking and horse riding; these are East Trailhead at Vargas Road and West Trailhead in Twin Buttes Trails.
