Málaga is a beautiful city located in the south of Spain and has some of the best nightlife you’ll find in Europe. With its great variety of bars, pubs, clubs and other social hotspots, you’ll never be bored here. So, here’s our guide to the amazing nightlife entertainment available in Málaga.

Hangar ES

Hangar ES is the hip spot for the city’s young, cool and trendy crowd. Located in the historic Santa Cruz neighbourhood, this two-level nightclub features a wide array of music for dancing and socializing, with separate areas for music and a separate chillout area. It also has a huge terrace with spectacular views of the city, allowing you to explore Málaga in an intimate atmosphere.

The staff at Hangar ES are friendly and know how to take care of their customers. The dress code is casual and drinks are reasonably priced.

My personal opinion: Hangar ES is definitely a great spot to go for a night out and it has a really good atmosphere. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the music is always good. I’d definitely recommend checking it out!

If you’re looking for something more laid back and chilled out, choose Salamandra Lounge in the old town. It offers an intimate and artistic atmosphere, with chill-out music and friendly staff. Salamandra Lounge also puts on occasional concerts and game nights with live DJs and live performances.

The bar serves a variety of traditional tapas as well as some international dishes, at relatively cheap prices. Drinks are also reasonably priced.

Andy’s Bar

Andy’s Bar is one of the oldest and most popular venues in the Malaga area, located in the centre of the city. You’ll find it in Plaza de la Merced, full of students, travellers and locals – a great mix of people from different backgrounds.

This bar has been around since 1982 and it has always been a favourite nightlife spot with locals. The warm, lounge-style bar has comfortable seating and calming music, making it a pleasant environment to relax after a long day of sightseeing and exploring the city. On weekends, they have live DJs playing some catchy tunes which always get people moving and dancing!

My personal opinion: Andy’s Bar has a really cool vibe and I love the relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to just chill out after exploring Málaga. It’s also fun on the weekends if you fancy getting up and dancing to some live music!

The Pub

The Pub is one of Málaga’s favourite pubs, offering an extensive selection of craft beers as well as some delicious traditional dishes from the region. Located in the centre of Málaga, this relaxed bar is ideal for those looking for an enjoyable evening out without having to fight their way through crowds of partying people or getting too messy or loud.

The Pub also has a great selection of wines, cocktails and spirits to choose from as well as some tasty pub grub. Prices are quite reasonable too, making it one of the more affordable spots to hang out during the night time festivities in Málaga.

My personal opinion: The Pub is definitely one of my favourite spots in Málaga! I love the vibe, it’s chilled yet still fun and lively. Not to mention, they have an awesome selection of drinks and food that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. I’d definitely recommend visiting if you’re wanting to just chill out and have a few drinks with friends.

Discoteca Marlango

If you’re looking for a more upbeat nightlife experience in Málaga, then look no further than Discoteca Marlango. It’s one of the hottest nightclubs in town and it draws in huge crowds every weekend.

The music here varies each night, but you’ll always find something to get you moving – from EDM to hip hop – there’s something for everyone at Discoteca Marlango! It has four different rooms with different styles of music, each with its own bar inside so you don’t have to go far to order your drinks. It’s also got VIP rooms if you fancy treating yourself or your friends to something special!

My personal opinion: Discoteca Marlango is great if you’re looking for a lively clubbing experience whilst in Málaga! I went here once and had an awesome night! It’s definitely worth it if you’re up for some good music and dancing!

Discoteca Marlango

If the relentless enthusiasm for partying has become too much for you, there are some more relaxed options I would suggest: try checking out La Sala Bar or Cocoa Club for beers, cocktails or light snacks, or sample some wine at Bodega Delante Taberna Vinícola. From Caribbean vibes to classic Spanish dishes, you can find something to suit your taste buds at any of these institutions!

Málaga is definitely one of the best places to experience nightlife in Europe and it certainly lives up to its hailed reputation; there’s something for everyone here! The clubs range from big clubs like Discoteca Marlango to smaller places like Salamandra Lounge where you can find some peace and quiet after observing life on Barcelona’s bustling streets from your terrace seat or dancing wildly until dawn.
