Ferment – Craft Beer & Live Music Pub
Let’s begin our virtual tour at Ferment, located in the heart of the old town of Pula. This craft beer and live music pub prides itself on offering something for everyone with their selection of local and international craft beers. With an eclectic mix of furniture and decorations, including wooden bar stools, plants and antique posters, you can easily get lost in the relaxed atmosphere of this venue.
Their selection of craft beers is sure to tantalize your taste buds, while the live music allows you to move to the beat. There are often DJs playing a variety of genres of music like funk, punk and ska as well as live bands playing more traditional tunes that will have you dancing into the night.
My opinion would be that Ferment is a great place to start off your tour of Pula’s pubs. The atmosphere is friendly and the variety of beers is extensive. The live music helps liven up the place and makes the experience all the more enjoyable.
Caffè Negri – Stylish Bar & Garden
Next up is Caffè Negri, located in Pula’s historic city center. This stylish bar is renowned for its trendy atmosphere and garden-style seating that offers a great view onto the city. With its chic interior design, this café transports you to a different era and includes unique vintage-style furniture and decorations.
The Caffè Negri also has a selection of fine wines, spirits and delicious food on offer. On Thursdays they host a live jazz night, making it an excellent place to head if you’re looking for an unforgettable evening out.
In my opinion, Caffè Negri is an absolute must-visit during your pub crawl in Pula. The combination of stylish decor, tasty drinks and live jazz music offers a unique experience that is not to be missed.

AZUR Wine & Whiskey Bar
For our next stop we’re heading to AZUR Wine & Whiskey Bar, which offers a wide selection of wines and whiskey as well as mouth-watering Tapas and other delicious items. Enjoy a glass of one of their exquisite wines while indulging in some delicious snacks sitting at their comfortable tables. The venue also has a cozy inner courtyard where you can relax even further under the stars in this very romantic atmosphere.
AZUR Bar also hosts different events throughout the week to keep things lively like wine tastings, cook ups and live music performances from both local and international artists. Their wine selection is top-notch so, no matter what type you go for, there will be something to suit your tastebuds.
My opinion on AZUR Bar would be that it’s definitely worth making a stop here during your pub crawl in Pula. The atmosphere here is perfect for enjoying a glass of fine wine or whiskey, with live music performances providing a great soundtrack for your evening out.
Krokodil – Rock Pub & Brewhouse
After having enjoyed some of Pula’s finest wines and whiskey it’s time to rock out at Krokodil Pub & Brewhouse! This popular rock pub has become a meeting point over the past few years as people come together to enjoy good music, refreshing drinks and delicious snacks while singing along with their favorite tunes.
Krokodil proudly produces their own beers on site which are known for their unique flavors that you won’t find anywhere else in Pula. Karaoke nights are held regularly where customers can show off their musical talent or cheer on their friends as they perform their favorite hits.
In my opinion Krokodil Pub & Brewhouse is an excellent option for pub crawlers who are looking for a unique experience that goes beyond just drinking beers and eating snacks. The karaoke nights are fun and make it an ideal place for larger groups who want to socialize together.

Hostel Giardino – Fresh Cocktails & Craft Beers
We finish our journey at Hostel Giardino which offers a great selection of tasty cocktails and craft beers, plus delicious meals and desserts topped off with an amazing view over Pula. Situated just outside the old city center in a former sailing vessel storage, Giardino exudes an old world charm with its wooden décor, nautical paintings and boat models adorning its walls.
On Thursdays karaoke nights are held here once again allowing customers to show off their vocal talents or cheer on their friends who are performing up on stage. They also serve food all year round ranging from burgers and grilled sandwiches to light salads and traditional desserts like their famous Krempita (a type of custard pie).
Giardino stands out as one of Pula’s cooler places due to its fantastic atmosphere and mouth-watering drinks which are sure to make your visit here enjoyable.
My opinion on Hostel Giardino would be that it’s one of my favorite places in Pula, not only due its impressive view but also because of its great atmosphere I have yet to find anywhere else in the city. I’d highly recommend that people who are visiting Pula add this spot to their pub crawl list!
