Day 1: Depart from Edinburgh to the Quaint Victorian Town of Pitlochry Our journey to the Isle of Skye will begin from Edinburgh. We will start by heading north and stopping to see the impressive Forth Railway Bridge. After that, we will continue to the quaint Victorian town of Pitlochry. Here, you’ll have time to explore and have some morning coffee before we continue our journey. Next, we will travel through the Cairngorms National Park, named after its impressive mountain range, where we’ll make our way to Fort Augustus for lunch. Fort Augustus is a pretty village located at the south end of Loch Ness, providing you the opportunity to try to spot the elusive Nessie monster. After lunch, we’ll head to Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland’s most iconic and picturesque castles. Here you’ll have some time to explore before crossing the bridge to the Isle of Skye. You will settle for the night on the Isle of Skye. Day 2: Explore the Isle of Skye We will start day two by enjoying a full-day exploration of the Isle of Skye. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide will ensure you get the most out of your day, showing you the most spectacular sights such as the craggy Cuillin Mountains, the outstanding Trotternish Peninsula, The Kilt Rock and The Old Man of Storr.
